Decision of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decision in respect of an application for a license was made on the 23rd June, 1941.

G. Moke, Kawhia Industrial Fishing. To take fish for sale by means of a small rowing-boat, using drag-nets and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Aotea Harbour Granted.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

AN application has been received from F. S. Roberts, 20 Molesworth Street, New Plymouth, for a license to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Sunny C,” using long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be landed at New Plymouth.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 17th July, 1941.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.

AN application has been received from A. Pitkethley, 127 Parnell Road, Auckland, for a license to commence to carry on the above industry to the extent of manufacturing men’s, ladies’, and children’s sandals by the fairstitch method.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 17th July, 1941.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Hauraki Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land situate in the Waikato-Maniapoto Native Land Court District, containing 61 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, called or known as Rae-O-te-Papa South 3B 2B 1 Block, and situate in Block IV, Waitoa Survey District, and Block I, Aroha Survey District.

Dated at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1941.

Declaration of Result of Election of Producers’ Representatives on the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee.

I, FRANCIS JOSEPH DAVEY, Returning Officer for the purposes of the election of representatives for appointment to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee, established by the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1940, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the result of the election on the poll which closed at Wellington at noon on the 25th day of June, 1941, for the two vacancies on the Southern Ward, to be as follows :—

I therefore declare the said Felix Ashton Eden and Charles William Warnes to be duly elected for appointment to such office.

Llewellin, Donald Irving.
Llewellin, Sydney Irving.

As the number of candidates nominated for the Northern Ward does not exceed the number of vacancies to be filled, I therefore declare the said Donald Irving Llewellin and Sydney Irving Llewellin to be duly elected for appointment to such office.
