Notification of Vacancy of Seat in the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Waitemata.

IN compliance with the provisions of section 103 of the Electoral Act, 1927, I, William Edward Barnard, Speaker of the House of Representatives of New Zealand, hereby notify that William John Lyon, a member of the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Waitemata, died on the 26th day of May, 1941, during a recess of the House by adjournment, and that the said seat in the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District is vacant by reason of such death.

Dated at Wellington, the 13th day of June, 1941.
