John Boyd to be Lieutenant (temp.), is appointed Assistant Proof Officer, and is attached to Northern Military District, Auckland. Dated 30th May, 1941.
2nd Lieutenant I. G. Budge, B.E. (Civil), Adjutant, 1st Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant while so employed. Dated 2nd June, 1941.
Lieutenant John Cecil Wright Davies, B.D.S., N.Z. Dental Corps, relinquishes his appointment as Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, upon transfer to the New Zealand Naval Forces. Dated 9th June, 1941.

Captain W. J. Gallen, Retired List, to be Captain, is posted to the 1st Battalion, and is seconded for duty to “G” Branch, Headquarters, Southern Military District, Christchurch. Dated 7th March, 1941.
NATIONAL MILITARY RESERVE.
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 41, dated 15th May, 1941, relative to the promotion of Lieutenant R. B. Steele, 3rd Company (Whangaroa), for “Dated 1st July, 1940,” substitute “Dated 1st April, 1941.”
