Adding Land to the Tongariro National Park.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection one of section two of the Tongariro National Park Amendment Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that as and from the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart as an addition to the Tongariro National Park to be dealt with and administered by the Tongariro National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the Tongariro National Park Act, 1922.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 1, Block IV, Manganui Survey District: Area, 346 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1941.

Lands set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserves Nos. 1622 and 1667, set apart by Proclamations dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, and the eighth day of May of that year, respectively, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 114 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part Reserve 1622 (provisional State forest), situated in Block VI, Kaniere Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the north-western boundary of Reserve 1177, Block VI, Kaniere Survey District, with the north-western side of the Kaniere Lake Road and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction by the north-western side of the aforesaid road to its intersection with the left bank of the Kaniere River; thence by, generally in an easterly direction, the said left bank of that river for 5400 links; thence by lines bearing 180° 00′, 2880 links, and 90° 00′, 3250 links, to the north-western boundary of the aforesaid Reserve 1177; thence in a south-westerly direction along that boundary to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing 70 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part Reserve 1667 (provisional State forest), situated in Block VI, Kaniere Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the north-western boundary of Reserve 1177, Block VI, Kaniere Survey District, with the left bank of the Kaniere River, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction by the said left bank of that river for 6000 links; thence by lines bearing 180° 00′, 2880 links, and 90° 00′, 3250 links, to the north-western boundary of the aforesaid Reserve 1177; thence generally in a north-easterly direction by that boundary to the point of commencement.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/105B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1941.

Crown Land in Auckland Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF WAIHI.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, situated in Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District, being part Section 28, Waihi Township, bounded: Towards the north-west by Martha Street for a distance of 114·49 links; towards the north-east by Hazard Street for a distance of 218·25 links; towards the south-east and south-west by the other part Section 28 following right lines for distances 114·51 links and 218·19 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/61A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Also all those areas containing by admeasurement a total area of 1 acre 0 roods 3·4 perches, more or less, situated in Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District, being Sections 245A and 246, Waihi Township. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/61B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Also all that area containing by admeasurement 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Section 193, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/61C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, containing by admeasurement 927 acres, more or less, and being Sections 4 and 5, Block XI, Wharepapa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 37/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plans S.O. 17495L and 17496L.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of June, 1941.
