WORKSOP EXTENDED GOLD DREDGING COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

Pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 13th day of May, 1941, at 11 o’clock a.m., the following special resolution was duly passed :—

“ That this company be wound up, and for that purpose the company go into voluntary liquidation.”

At the same meeting, THOMAS HUBERT LEE, of Reef ton, Accountant, was duly appointed liquidator for the purpose of the above winding up.

This company is being wound up under section 221 of the Companies Act, 1933, as a solvent company.

All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 28th June, 1941, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

Dated at Reef ton, this 28th day of May, 1941.

ELLESMERE LANDS DRAINAGE BOARD.

HALSWELL DREDGING LOAN, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, instalments of principal, and other charges on a loan of six thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a drag-line dredge and pontoon for dredging the Halswell River and drains in the Board’s district and the cost of carrying out such work, the said Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen sixty-fourths (¹³⁄₆₄d.) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all land classified as Class A, and nine sixty-fourths (⁹⁄₆₄d.) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all land classified as Class B, and three thirty-seconds (³⁄₃₂d.) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all land classified as Class C in the River Area of the Board’s district ; and that such special rates shall be annual-recurring rates during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of members of the above-named company has been summoned for the purpose of receiving the liquidator’s final statement of accounts and the passing of an extraordinary resolution for the disposal of the books and papers of the company and of the liquidator, and will be held at the Dalefield Buildings, Carterton, on the 4th day of July, 1941, at 1.30 p.m.
