CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenure.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 28th May, 1941.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on optional tenure under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 3 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 16th June, 1941.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 18th June, 1941, at 11 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and deposit in reduction of weighting for improvements.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Waitemata County.—Paremoremo Parish.

ALLOTMENT 503: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 12·5 perches. Capital value, £30. Deposit on deferred payments, £5; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments (term: twenty years), £1 0s. 9d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, 12s.

Weighted with £180 for improvements, comprising old dwelling, shed (in poor condition), washhouse, 17½ chains boundary fencing, and 1¼ acres felled and grassed. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £20, the balance may be repaid over a period of twenty years by forty half-yearly instalments of £6 7s. 6d.

This property which is at the end of School Road, close to the Riverhead Post-office and opposite the School, is two and a half to three miles from Kumeu. Access is by metal, tar-sealed, and concrete road, twenty-five miles from Auckland. Property is undulating, and soil is clay loam resting on clay; watered by tanks. Is suitable for a worker’s home.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 23rd June, 1941.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 25th June, 1941, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, deposit in reduction of weighting for improvements, and lease and mortgage fees.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Te Kuiti Borough.—Te Kuiti Native Township.

SECTION 5, Block XXVII: Area, 2 acres 0 roods 39·4 perches. Capital value, £120; half-yearly rent, £3.

Weighted with £400 for improvements, comprising dwelling, garage, and shed. This sum is payable in cash, or after payment of a deposit of £50, the balance (£350) may be secured to the State Advances Corporation on a twenty-year table mortgage providing for half-yearly instalments of £13 10s. 1d. gross, or £12 12s. 7d. net, basing the interest on the present rate of 4⅝ per cent. reducible to 4¼ per cent.
