Directing Sale of Railway Land at Mount Albert under the
Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day
of April, 1941.

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public
Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held,
taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any
other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever,
for any public work, is not required for such public work,
the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly
notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the
condition set forth in the said Act:

And whereas provision is made under the thirty-sixth
section of the said Act whereby any such land may, with
the concurrence of the Governor-General, be sold on deferred
payments extending over a period not exceeding five years:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct
the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and
doth hereby authorize, pursuant to the said section thirty-
six, the acceptance of the purchase-price in instalments
extending over a period not exceeding five years.

In the North Auckland Land District : as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6466,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Tokoroa Memorial
Hall Society (Incorporated).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of
May, 1941.

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a hall-site reserve and is vested in the Tokoroa
Memorial Hall Society (Incorporated):

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said
land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the
Tokoroa Memorial Hall Society (Incorporated) has duly
consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Tokoroa Memorial
Hall Society (Incorporated) of the land described in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more
or less, being Lots 98 and 151, on a plan numbered 15561,
deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at
Auckland, and being portion of Tokoroa No. 1 Block. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 6/3/381, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Mauriceville County
Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day
of May, 1941.

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is
a reserve for public buildings of the County Council,
and is vested in the Mauriceville County Council :

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said
land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the
Mauriceville County Council has duly consented to such
cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section
ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mauriceville
County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for Camping Purposes in the
Southland Automobile Association (Incorp.).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day
of May, 1941.

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for
camping purposes : And whereas it is expedient that the
control of the said reserve should be vested in the Southland
Automobile Association (Incorp.) :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Southland
Automobile Association (Incorp.).
