Land taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Christchurch.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 10 perches.

Being closed street passing through part Rural Section 197.

Situated in the City of Christchurch (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7249.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108360, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of May, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 12·73 perches.

Being part Section 531, Town of Wellington.

Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20725.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111006, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of May, 1941.
