Lieutenant-Colonel F. K. Turnbull, D.S.O., M.C., is appointed Officer Commanding H.M.N.Z. Transport, is granted the temporary rank of Colonel, and remains seconded to the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Dated 1st April, 1941.

The undermentioned are seconded to the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force for duty on H.M.N.Z. Transports :—

Lieutenant-Colonel K. B. Tennent, M.M. (Reserve of Officers), is appointed Second in Command, H.M.N.Z. Transport. Dated 1st April, 1941.

Major J. M. C. McLeod, M.C. (N.Z. Temporary Staff), is appointed Second in Command, H.M.N.Z. Transport, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 1st April, 1941.

Captain (temp. Major) S. W. Crawford (N.Z.M.C.), is appointed Senior Medical Officer. Dated 1st April, 1941.

Captain S. C. W. Watkins (N.Z. Temporary Staff), is appointed Draft Conducting Officer, Southern Infantry Battalion, and is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 1st April, 1941.

Lieutenant (temp.) T. G. Scott-Smith (N.Z. Army Pay Corps), Ship’s Paymaster. Dated 1st April, 1941.

Lieutenant (temp.) G. B. Morton (N.Z. Army Pay Corps), Ship’s Paymaster. Dated 1st April, 1941.
