Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XII, Belmont Survey District, for Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and that for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the District Engineer, Public Works Department, Wellington, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 4 perches.
Being part closed road adjoining Section 15, Harbour District.
Situated in Block XII, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 20623.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110334, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Registered Medical Practitioner prohibited from dealing in or issuing Prescriptions for Dangerous Drugs.
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Dangerous Drugs Regulations, 1928, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Health, being satisfied that James Reid, of No. 375 Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland, a registered medical practitioner, has committed a breach of the terms of the license deemed to be held by him under the said regulations, and acting on the recommendation of the Medical Council, do hereby revoke the license deemed to be held by the said James Reid under the said regulations, and do hereby prohibit the said James Reid from issuing prescriptions for the dispensing of dangerous drugs.
Given under my hand at Wellington, this 31st day of March, 1941.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from W. N. Wells, Wakatahuri, Pelorus Sound, to take fish for sale, using set-nets, drag-nets, long-lines, and hand-lines, by means of vessel “Roma,” catches to be landed at French Pass.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 1st May, 1941.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from M. Bosnick, trading as Bosnick and Company, 416 Karangahape Road, Auckland, for an extension of its existing license covering the manufacture of basket shoes by the pumps method so as to permit the use of the cemented process.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 1st May, 1941.

AN application has been received from A. Lunnon, trading as Lunnon Shoe Services, Guyton Street, Wanganui, for a license to commence to carry on the above industry to the extent of manufacturing men’s working-boots, sales to be confined to applicant’s own shop only.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 1st May, 1941.

Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part III), and its Amendments.
WHEREAS it has been reported to the Public Trustee that Walter John Liddle, of unknown address and occupation, is the owner of a sum of money amounting to £401 19s. 2d., representing his one-sixth share in the estate of John Liddle, deceased: And whereas it is not known where the said Walter John Liddle is or whether he is alive or dead: And whereas the Public Trustee has been requested to take possession of and administer the said sum of money under the provisions of Part III of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, and its amendments: Now, therefore, by virtue of section 87 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, as amended by section 41 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, and by section 21 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, the Public Trustee, with the consent of the Public Trust Office Board, hereby declares his intention of taking possession of the said sum of money and of exercising in respect thereof the powers conferred upon him by the said section 87 as so amended.
