Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve at Invercargill to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 24ยท7 perches. Portion of Railway land, being part Section 29, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, City of Invercargill. (S.O. 5557.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.O. 6497, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1941.

Revoking a Proclamation taking Additional Land at South Malvern for the Purposes of the Whitecliffs Branch Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 49 of the thirtieth day of the same month, page 1264, taking additional land at South Malvern for the purposes of the Whitecliffs Branch Railway.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1941.

Land taken for Road in Block IV, Waimate Survey District, Hawera County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8ยท4 perches. Being Part Lot 1, D.P. 806, part Subdivision A of Section 146 (Inuawai Block).
Situated in Block IV, Waimate Survey District. (S.O. 7852.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106470, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1941.
