Notice of Intention to take Land for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Dargaville.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 32 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Dargaville and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Situated in Block XIII, Maungaru Survey District (Borough of Dargaville) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31523.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109988, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Regulations under the Naval Defence Act, 1913, amended.
C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of March, 1941. Present: His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

Notice to make Returns of Land under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923.
EVERY person and company within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and regulations thereunder, whether a taxpayer or not, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to forward to or deliver at my office, Wellington C. 3, on or before the 11th April, 1941, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 noon on 31st March, 1941, where the total unimproved value, as assessed under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, exceeds £500.
Any person failing to furnish a return at the prescribed time is liable to a penalty up to £100.
Return forms are available at any post-office.
