✨ Domain Board Appointments and Reserve Changes
of the sum of seventy-seven thousand five hundred pounds
(£77,500) by a loan to be known as “Garden Place Loan,
1938” (hereinafter called “the said loan”):
And whereas by Order in Council made on the third day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and forty, the determina-
tions aforesaid were varied to extend the term within which
the said loan might be raised to three (3) years from the date
of the said Order in Council in lieu of two (2) years as
provided in clause seven thereof:
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in
Council has not yet been fully exercised, and it is expedient
to extend the term to four (4) years :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of
the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary
the determinations contained in clause seven of the said
Order in Council as varied by the Order in Council made on
the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty,
by prescribing that no moneys shall be borrowed under the
consent contained in the said Order in Council after the
expiration of four (4) years from the date thereof.

To be the Ealing Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Monday, the twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-one, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Ealing Library Hall as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

Monday, the fourteenth day of April, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-one, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Huirangi Hall as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

All that area in the Harbour of Port Nicholson,
bounded on all sides by the sea, and called or known

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Leeston Survey District

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such land shall be changed to a reserve for gravel
purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a
reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for gravel purposes.

Reserve 1046, Block III, Leeston Survey District : Area,
5 acres, more or less.
