Licensing the Estate of Matthew Lundon, Deceased, to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, as a Site for a Shop.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 5th day of March, 1941.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the estate of Matthew Lundon, deceased (hereinafter called “the licensee,” which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore below low-water mark at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, at the site shown as number 8B on plan marked M.D. 6300, approved on the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a shop as shown on the said plan, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
(1) THIS license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 21st day of February, 1941.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1), and the annual sum so payable, five pounds (£5).

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Bruce Scott, of Auckland (hereinafter called “the licensee,” which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark on the Wade River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 6281, approved on the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf, as shown on the said plan, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Reapportioning Representation on the Grey Electric-power Board.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 5th day of March, 1941.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that on and after the dates of the next general elections of the representatives of the constituent districts of the Grey Electric-power District the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Grey Electric-power Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district; and doth further determine that the constituent districts which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted a combined district for the purposes of the said Act, and that the principal local authority of such combined district shall be the local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “(P).”

Restricting the Grant and Disposal of Mining Privileges over certain Lands in the Nelson Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 5th day of March, 1941.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section thirty-four of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the date hereof no mining privileges shall be granted over the lands described in the Schedule hereto without the previous written consent of the Minister of Mines; and, further, that no mining privileges affecting such lands whether granted before or after the passing of the said Act shall be transferred or otherwise dealt with without the like consent.

PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Native reservation for the common use of the owners of Te Kopi, Kawakawa, and Matakaitaki Blocks as a landing-place and a fishing-ground.
