Formation of New Units, Changes in Designation, and Reorganization of the Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve, under section 6 (a), Defence Act, 1909, that the notice published in the Gazette No. 127, dated 19th December, 1940, relative to the formation of new units, changes in designation, and reorganization of the Territorial Force, be amended as follows:—
(1) Under “Army Reserve” insert after “2nd Battalion, The Hawke’s Bay Regiment, with headquarters at Dannevirke,” the following new unit, namely:—
The 29th Light Aid Detachment, New Zealand Ordnance Corps (attached 7th New Zealand Infantry Brigade) with headquarters at Auckland.
(2) Wherever the words “New Zealand Provost Corps” appear, substitute “Corps of New Zealand Military Police.”
