EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of Outstanding Mortgage No. 124710, from CHARLES ANDREW TURNBULL to The Trustees Executors and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, affecting Section 8, Block XXXVII, Town of Dunedin, being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book, Vol. 268, folio 56, and application having been made to me to register a discharge of the said mortgage, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to dispense with the production of the said outstanding mortgage and register the discharge accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between HENRY JAMES WINTER, CHARLES ANTHONY WINTER, CHRISTOPHER WINTER, and WILLIAM JOHN WINTER, carrying on business as Dairy-farmers at Ouruhia, near Christchurch, under the style or firm of “Winter Bros.,” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of September, 1940, so far as concerns the said Charles Anthony Winter, who retires from the said firm.

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening and deepening of Waiarohia Stream for flood-prevention purposes in the Borough of Whangarei—and for the purposes of such public works the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Bank Street, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days of the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Bank Street.
