Lot 1, on D.P. 28962, being part Allotment 407, Waipipi Parish, Block II, Maioro Survey District: Area, 3 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less.

Declaring the Nicholas Family Burial-ground under Section 2 of the Cemeteries Amendment Act, 1912.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS a petition has been presented, under section two of the Cemeteries Amendment Act, 1912 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), praying that the land described in the Schedule hereto be declared to be a private burial-ground, to be called and known by the name of “The Nicholas Family Burial-ground”:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to grant the prayer of the said petition:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers in that behalf vested in me by the said Act, I, George Vere Arundel, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a private burial-ground subject to the provisions of the said Act, to be called and known by the name of “The Nicholas Family Burial-ground”:
And I do further notify and declare that the lineal descendants of William Nicholas, Farmer, of Omokoroa, Tauranga, and of his wife, and the lineal descendants of the said William Nicholas and his wife of any former marriage, and any person or persons related by marriage with any of the said lineal descendants, shall be the only class of persons who may now or hereafter be buried in the said “Nicholas Family Burial-ground.”
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing three acres one rood twenty-seven perches, more or less, being Allotment No. 44A of the Parish of Te Puna, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 231, folio 233 (Auckland Registry).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 31st day of January, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

to be trustees of the Little River Public Cemetery, and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.

Vesting the Control of the Lowry Bay Scenic Reserve in the Hutt County Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Hutt County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

The said Council shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—LOWRY BAY SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 163 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Lot 4 on D.P. 12030, and being parts of Sections 20, 21, 22, and 23, Harbour District, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/542B deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Subject however, to two pipe-line easements created by transfers numbered 216109 and 219497, Wellington Registry, as delineated on the aforesaid plan and coloured blue thereon.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 19 perches, more or less, being Lot 36 on D.P. 1714, being part of Section 20, Harbour District, situate in Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 404, folio 96.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this 13th day of February, 1941.
