Approval of Testing Officers under the Motor-drivers' Regulations 1940.
IN terms of Regulation 5 of the Motor-drivers' Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport does hereby approve, until further notice, of the persons named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being Testing Officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

The Apple and Pear Marketing Regulations 1940.—Prices and Grading Notice. Office of the Minister of Marketing, Wellington, 11th February, 1941. PURSUANT to the Apple and Pear Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby revoke the notice under the said regulations published in the Gazette of the 22nd February, 1940, page 315, and do hereby fix the following prices as the prices to be paid for apples and pears delivered to the Marketing Department under the said Regulations on or after the 1st day of December, 1940, and until further notice :— APPLES. And, in further pursuance of the said regulations and for the purpose of assessing the prices to be paid as aforesaid, I hereby declare that the grading standards of the following grades of apples—namely, Extra Fancy, Fancy, and Commercial—shall be as specified in the New-Zealand-grown Fruit Regulations 1940, and the minimum sizes shall be as specified in the said regulations but modified in respect of the varieties set out in the following table to the extent indicated therein :— APPLES.
