Calling out Parts of the Defence Forces for Military Service.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Defence Emergency Regulations 1941, the Governor-General may by Proclamation call out any part or parts of the Defence Forces for military service :
And whereas, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Emergency Regulations 1941, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, do hereby call out for military service for purposes of defence in New Zealand, as from the dates stated, the following parts of the Defence Forces, namely :—
- As from 10th December, 1941—
NATIONAL MILITARY RESERVE.
1st Company.
2nd Company.
3rd Company.
6th Company.
15th Company.
2nd Battalion (part).
3rd Battalion.
4th Battalion.
1 Section, 5th Works Company, Corps of New Zealand Engineers.
NEW ZEALAND TERRITORIAL FORCE.
Headquarters, Northern Fortress Area.
Headquarters, Central Fortress Area.
Headquarters, Southern Fortress Area.
Part 1st Signals Company, New Zealand Corps of Signals.
2 Sections, 1st Field Company, Corps of New Zealand Engineers.
1st Battalion, The Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own).
1st Battalion, The Wellington Regiment (City of Wellington’s Own).
Detachment, 1st Composite Company, New Zealand Army Service Corps.
- As from 15th December, 1941—
Headquarters, Southern Division (part).
Headquarters, 1st 2nd, 3rd, 10th, and 11th New Zealand Infantry Brigades.
The Auckland (East Coast) Mounted Rifles.
The Manawatu Mounted Rifles.
The Nelson-Marlborough Mounted Rifles.

2nd and 3rd Reserve Mechanical Transport Companies, New Zealand Army Service Corps.
2nd and 3rd Provost Companies, Corps of New Zealand Military Police.
21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 30th, 57th, and 59th Light Aid Detachments, New Zealand Ordnance Corps.
2nd, 3rd, 10th, 11th, and 14th Field Ambulances, New Zealand Medical Corps.
2nd and 3rd Field Hygiene Sections, New Zealand Medical Corps.
2nd and 3rd Motor Ambulance Convoys, New Zealand Medical Corps.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of December, 1941.
