Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Additional Land between Port Chalmers Upper and St. Leonard’s for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under this Act, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect to the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purposes for which it was taken, the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:
And whereas it is found that part of the additional land between Port Chalmers Upper and St. Leonard’s taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1928, dated the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, of the tenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, page 423, is not required for the purposes for which it was taken:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation in so far as it affects the area of 29·47 perches, being parts Allotments 27 and 28, D.P. 98, coloured red, described in the Schedule thereto.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of November, 1941.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Papakura to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown Land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:—

0 0 33·84 Part Lot 1, D.P. 26362, being part Allotment 209, Section 11, Village of Papakura.
1 0 11·19 Part Lot 1, D.P. 26362, being part Allotments 209 and 216, Section 11, Village of Papakura.
Situated in Block IV, Drury Survey District, Borough of Papakura. (S.O. 32395.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6732, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of December, 1941.

Any Mines of Coal and other Minerals under Land in Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District, taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, and published in the Gazette dated the thirteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, at page 518, the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for a road:
And whereas under the provisions of section nineteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, any mines of coal and other minerals under the said land were deemed to be and to have been excepted out of the said Proclamation, except only such parts thereof as were necessary for the proper and effectual construction, support, and maintenance of the works for which the said land was taken by the said Proclamation:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that all the rights, estates, and interests of all persons in any mines of coal and other minerals whatsoever under the said land are hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which all rights, estates, and interests in any mines of coal and other minerals whatsoever are taken: 2 roods 16·5 perches. Being part of the northern-middle portion of Allotment 41, Parish of Hikurangi.
Situated in Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32381.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112868, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington; and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of December, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a technical school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 2 roods 37·8 perches.
Being parts Sections 691, 710, and 711, Town of Wellington.
Situated in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20836.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112843, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
