N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF.
Lieutenant (Acting Captain) D. N. McLeod relinquishes the acting rank of Captain and is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 1st December, 1940.
Lieutenant R. S. Beveridge to be Captain. Dated 18th December, 1940.
Captain C. N. Mitchell, Retired List, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed Company Commander, No. 2 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 5th January, 1941.
Lieutenant L. J. Williamson, N.Z. Army Service Corps, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed Adjutant, 1st Composite Company, N.Z. Army Service Corps. Dated 6th January, 1941.
Lieutenant J. P. S. Stocker, B.D.S., N.Z. Dental Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and is attached to the Royal N.Z. Air Force Station, Wigram. Dated 27th December, 1940.
2nd Lieutenant H. H. Muckrell, Reserve of Officers, Supplementary List, to be 2nd Lieutenant, and is appointed Camp Quartermaster, Military Camp, Palmerston North. Dated 20th December, 1940.
COMMAND.
Major A. E. Gorton, M.M., 1st Battalion, The Wellington Regiment (City of Wellington’s Own), is appointed to Command the Taranaki Regiment, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while so employed. Dated 6th November, 1940.
