resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty, the sides and portions of streets being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto), viz. :-
"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the undermentioned portions of streets, viz. :-
"(a) The south-eastern side of portion of Helensburgh Road, abutting on Allotment 22, Township of Kirkland Hill Extension, and Allotments 48 and 49, Township of Kirkland Hill Second Extension; and
"(b) The north-eastern side of portion of Hood Street abutting on Allotments 22 and 23, Township of Kirkland Hill Extension";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Helensburgh Road and the north-eastern side of the portion of Hood Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Helensburgh Road, fronting part Lot 22, D.P. 70, Extension of Village of Kirkland Hill, and Lots 48 and 49, D.P. 144, Second Extension of Township of Kirkland Hill.
Also the north-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the said land district and city, known as Hood Street, fronting part Lot 22 and Lot 23, D.P. 70, Extension of Village of Kirkland Hill.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109611, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

APPENDIX III.-SUBSTANTIVE RATES OF NAVAL RATINGS AND ROYAL MARINES.
Appendix III.-Subject to the provisions of Article 130 of these regulations and Navy Order 221, the following shall be the daily rate of pay of the Coding Branch of the New Zealand Naval Forces:-

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Orewa Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Orewa Domain Board.
