THE DUCHESS STEAMSHIP COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
IT is hereby notified that the Duchess Steamship Company, Limited, has by special resolution dated 18th December, 1940, resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily and that N. A. TATTON, Box 917, Auckland C. 1, be appointed liquidator.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, HUGH BARNETT and LESLIE FRANKLIN GIBBS carrying on business as Service-station Proprietors at the corner of Office and Papanui Roads, Christchurch, under the style or firm of the St. Albans Service Station, has been dissolved by effluxion of time as from the 30th day of November, 1940.

HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hokianga County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work—namely, for the purpose of a road—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public offices of the County Clerk to the said Council at Rawene and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth their objections in writing and send the same on or before the 14th day of February, 1941 (being a date not more than forty days from the first publication of this notice) to the Clerk at the County Chambers, Parnell Street, Rawene.
