Additional Land near Mount Albert taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land near Mount Albert in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 3·2 perches.
Part Lot 6, D.P. 20038, of Allotment 34, Parish of Titirangi, Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of Mount Albert. (S.O. 31455.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6372, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of January, 1941.

Allocating Land Reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the City of Wellington, at Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Woodville Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Wellington City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Railway land : 8·97 perches.
Part land on D.P. 10550, being part of Thorndon Reclamation.
Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington. (S.O. 20556.)

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6373, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of December, 1940.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Newcastle Survey District.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for Railway Purposes and is not now required for such purposes) shall, upon publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Waikato County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102632, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of December, 1940.
