His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
approve of the following appointments, promotions,
and transfers of Officers of the New Zealand Military Forces:
N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF.
2nd Lieutenant J. E. Melling, Reserve of Officers, Supplementary List, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed Adjutant, 2nd Battalion, The Hawke's Bay Regiment. Dated 1st November, 1940.
CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.
Lieutenant (temp.) C. M. Taylor, B.Sc., A.M.I.E.E., A.M.
(N.Z.) I.E., ceases to be posted to the 1st Field Company,
is appointed to command the 22nd Field Company,
and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst commanding the Company. Dated 1st November, 1940.
THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY'S OWN).
