Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block XV, Halswell Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway Branch-line from the race-course to Southbridge, with sub-branch to Little River (Ellesmere Section) and is not now required for such purpose), shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 22 perches, being Railway land.
Situated in Block XV, Halswell Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7193.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107321, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of September, 1940.

Crown Land set apart for a Post-office in Block VII, Omapere Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a post-office; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 4·8 perches.
Being closed road adjoining part Allotment 1, Okaihau Parish.
Situated in Block VII, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30879.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106938, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of August, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 39·02 perches.
Being part Lot 15, D.P. 1588, and being part of Suburban Section 1041, Town of Palmerston North.
Situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District (City of Palmerston North). (S.O. 333/43.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97305, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of September, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Kaupokonui Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
