Cartage Charges between Taneatua and Whakatane, Opotiki, Matawai, Te Karaka, Gisborne, and Points beyond Gisborne.

By omitting the particulars under this heading and substituting the following :—

Parcels and goods traffic may be consigned between any station and the points specified hereunder, via Taneatua. The following are particulars of the cartage charges from or to Taneatua :—

Paragraph 3: By adding after the words “in weight,” the words “joinery exceeding 10 cwt. in weight.”

By adding the following new regulation :—

18a. Through Booking of Goods to Martinborough.

Goods in classes C and D will be accepted for conveyance from any station by rail to Featherston, thence by road to Martinborough, at the appropriate rail rates to Featherston, plus cartage charges Featherston to Martinborough, at the following scale :—

Consignments exceeding 5 cwt. in weight at pro rata of the rate of 6s. 6d. per ton.

Porcelain baths, w.c. pans, wash-basins, wickerware and basketware, will be charged at the rates for goods not otherwise specified, plus 50 per cent.

New furniture and goods exceeding 10 cwt. in weight per unit will be charged at double the rates for goods not otherwise specified.
