A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108016, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of September, 1940.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 25·6 perches.
Being part Murimotu Run No. 4.

Situated in Block IX, Moawhango Survey District. (S.O. 3248.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97236, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of September, 1940.

Leasehold Interest in Land in the Borough of Hamilton taken for Housing Purposes.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule hereto (held by George Jack, of Hamilton, Builder, from His Majesty the King by virtue of a Memorandum of Lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 16301) is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the estate of leasehold is taken: 2 roods 37·56 perches.

Being portion of Lot 5, D.P. 23358, being part Allotments 95, 96, and 97, Town of Hamilton East.

Situated in Block II, Hamilton Survey District (Borough of Hamilton) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30592.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106892, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of September, 1940.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purpose of a Road, in Block IX, Moawhango Survey District.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a further portion of the North Island Main Trunk Railway by a Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette, one thousand nine hundred and seven, at page 970, but is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
