Additional Land at New Lynn, taken for the Purposes
of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-
Waikato Railway to take further land at New Lynn
in addition to land previously acquired for the pur-
poses of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount
Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred
and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 3·37
perches.

Part of Allotment 256, D.P. 170, Parish of Waikomiti.

Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District,
Borough of New Lynn. (S.O. 31179.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L.O. 6238, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
September, 1940.

Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, con-
venience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier
Railway to take further land at Napier in addition to land
previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by
sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1·93 perches.

Part Lot 1, D.P. 3455, of Town Section 349, Napier.

Situated in the Borough of Napier. (S.O. 1962.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6232,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
September, 1940.
