Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land declared to be Crown land :-

0 0 0.55 Lot 3 on D.P. 11589, being portion of Section 5, Hall - Jones Settlement ; coloured blue.
0 2 11·11 Part Lot 4 on D.P. 11589, being portion of Section 6, Hall-Jones Settlement ; coloured yellow.
0 1 0·76 Part Section 7, Hall-Jones Settlement ; coloured sepia.
Situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District (Borough of Lower Hutt) (Wellington R.D.). (S.O. 2056I.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108181, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of August, 1940.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty.
