Land taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Christchurch.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 36 perches.

Being portion of Rural Section 38.

Situated in the City of Christchurch.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106628, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 2 roods 3 perches.

Being portion of Lot 2, D.P. 2689, being also part Rangatira Block.

Situated in Block VII, Ongo Survey District (Wellington R.D.). (S.O. 20508.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108232, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Native school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

Being portion of Section 2, Block XV, Waiawa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4098, blue.)
