ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Intention to take Land for Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and amendments thereto, by the Eltham County Council to execute a certain public work—viz., the construction of a road through Umutahi A 8c l Block, Block XIII, Ngaire Survey District, and shown on S.O. plan 7884—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and the land required to be taken, is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Eltham County Council, Stanners Street, Eltham.
And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public works or by the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of such public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within (40) forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Council office, Eltham.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of the parcel of land required to be taken : 27·l perches.
Being portion of Umutahi A 8c l Block, situated in Block XIII, Ngaire Survey District, in the County of Eltham, and the Land District of Taranaki. (S.O. plan 7884.)

AUCKLAND DAIRY PRODUCE COLD STORAGE CO., LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held on the 31st July, 1940, the following special resolution was passed :—
That the company be wound up voluntarily ; that Stanley George Chambers, of Auckland, be, and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.
Any creditors considering that they have claims against the company are required to forward their claims to the undersigned not later than Friday the 23rd August, 1940, otherwise they may be excluded from any distribution which may be made to the creditors.

(3) Those who died from accident occurring or disease contracted while training with or attached to the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces of New Zealand.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows :— Ordinary Weekly Gazette : For the first 32 pages, 9d. increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof; postage, Id.
Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes : For the first 8 pages, 6d. ; over 8 pages and not exceeding 32 pages, 9d. ; increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof ; postage, Id.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
