Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

P URSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 7th day of August, 1940.

SCHEDULE.

BELL BLOCK BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land situated within the Taranaki County and bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Waitara River and continuing along the said river in a generally south-easterly direction to the boundary of the Inglewood Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area at Manganui; thence continuing along the said boundary in a generally westerly direction to the Waiwakaiho River; thence continuing down-stream along the said river in a generally northerly direction to the sea-coast; thence continuing along the sea-coast in a generally north-easterly direction to the mouth of the Waitara River being the original point of commencement.

GREY DISTRICTS BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land situated within the Grey and the Inangahua Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Little Grey River is crossed by the railway-line near Mawheraiti; thence continuing in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to Blackball so as to include all farms fronting the road on the west side of the Grey River; thence from Blackball taking a straight line in an easterly direction to the Grey River; thence downstream along the Grey River to a point on the eastern bank of the said river opposite Taylorville; thence taking a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the Hohonui River at Greenstone; thence continuing downstream along the Hohonui River to the Taramakau River; thence continuing along the Taramakau River in a generally easterly direction to the Grey County boundary; thence continuing along the Grey County boundary in a generally northerly and then easterly direction to the point where it meets the Grey River to the west of Mount Hooker; thence from this point continuing in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to a point where the Little Grey River is crossed by the railway-line near Mawheraiti being the original point of commencement.

ALL that area of land situated within the Ellesmere County and bounded by a line commencing on the beach at the Taumutu lagoon opposite the junction of the Taumutu-Rakaia Road and McEvedy's Road; thence proceeding to and up McEvedy's Road to the junction of the said road with Inwood's Road; thence along Inwood's Road in a northerly direction to Bridge's Road; thence along Bridge's Road for about two chains to Clark's Road; thence along Clark's Road to Lockhead's Road; thence along Lockhead's Road to the junction of the said road with the Tramway Reserve Road; thence taking a straight line across country to the shore of Lake Ellesmere at the point where the north-easterly boundary of Section 5 meets the shore; thence continuing along the shore of Lake Ellesmere in a generally southerly direction to the sea-coast; thence along the sea-coast in a generally westerly direction to the beach at the Taumutu lagoon opposite the junction of the Taumutu-Rakaia Road and McEvedy's Road being the original point of commencement; farms on both sides of the boundary roads to be deemed to be included within the area.

ALL that area of land situated within the Egmont County and bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Moutoti River in the western portion of Block V, Opunake Survey District; thence continuing upstream along the said river in a generally easterly direction to the western boundary of Section 10, Block V, Opunake Survey District; thence along the western and northern boundaries of Section 10 aforesaid to the western boundary of Section 13, Block V, aforesaid; thence along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of Section 13 aforesaid to the Moutoti River again; thence upstream along the said river in a generally easterly direction to the north-east corner of Section 6, Block III, Opunake Survey District; thence continuing again in a generally easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Section 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block III aforesaid, and Sections 12 and 13, Block IV, Opunake Survey District, to the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary in the north-east portion of Block IV aforesaid; thence continuing in a generally south-easterly direction along the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary to the point where the said boundary is intersected by the Waiaua Stream; thence continuing downstream along the Waiaua Stream in a generally south-westerly direction to the sea-coast; thence along the sea-coast in a generally north-westerly direction to the mouth of the Moutoti River in the western portion of Block V, Opunake Survey District, being the original point of commencement.
