to be Gaoler of His Majesty’s Prison, Napier, under section 5 of the Prisons Act, 1908, on and from the 9th day of July, 1940.

Arthur Edward George Knight,

to be an officer for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908, on and from the 24th day of June, 1940.

to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Te Haroto, as from the 1st day of July, 1940.
