LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 178, folio 289 (Canterbury Registry), for Town Section 130, situated in the City of Christchurch, whereof ELIZABETH HARDIE TAIT, Wife of JAMES TAIT, of Christchurch, Retired, is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me for the issue of a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to issue such new certificate of title accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of RAKAIA TRANSPORT SERVICE COMPANY, LIMITED (In Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 26th day of June, 1940, the above-named company, at an extraordinary general meeting, passed the following special resolutions :—

  1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.

  2. That HERBERT LESLIE WILKINSON, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be, and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.

Notice is further given that I hereby fix the 31st day of July, 1940, as the day on or before which the creditors of the above company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, for objecting to such distribution.
