SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE LAKE WAKATIPU RABBIT DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing 42,000 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the Kawarau River in line with Trigs. F and GG, Block I, Kawarau Survey District; thence north-east to said Trig. GG; thence by the eastern boundary of Kawarau Survey District to the north-east corner of Section 1, Block VII, aforesaid survey district; thence by the northern boundaries of said Block VII and Block X, Shotover Survey District, to First Burn; thence by that burn to the Arrow River; thence by that river down-stream to Bush Creek; thence by that creek to the north-west corner of Section 24, Block XVII aforesaid, Shotover Survey District; thence by the western boundary of said Section 24 to the boundary of Runs 26 and 27; thence north-west and west by that boundary to the south-west corner of said Run 26; thence by a straight line south-west to Skippers Saddle on the Queenstown-Skippers Creek Road; thence by a straight line south-west to the south-western corner of aforesaid Run 27 on the Shotover River; thence by that river down-stream to the Arthurs Point Bridge, across that bridge to the Arthurs Point-Queenstown Road; thence by that road south-westerly to the north-west boundary of the Town of Queenstown; thence by the north-west, north-east, and south-east boundaries of that town to the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu; thence by Lake Wakatipu and the Kawarau River to the commencing point.

Boundaries of Borough of Whakatane and County of Whakatane altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-seven of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that certain areas be excluded from the County of Whakatane and included in the Borough of Whakatane:
And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries and recommended that the said areas be excluded from the County of Whakatane and included in the Borough of Whakatane:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alterations of boundaries recommended by the said Commission:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that the areas described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Whakatane and included in the Borough of Whakatane.
SCHEDULE.
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF WHAKATANE AND INCLUDED IN BOROUGH OF WHAKATANE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, containing approximately four and three-quarter acres, bounded: Commencing at the south-western corner of part Lot l of Allotment 245, Waimana Parish, on D.P. 12340; thence towards the north-east by part Lot I aforesaid; towards the south-east by part Allotment 245, Waimana Parish, on D.P. 23787; towards the south-west generally by Lot 1 on D.P. 25400; Allotment 273, Waimana Parish, and the crossing of Bay View Road; and towards the north-west generally by the Whakatane Borough as described in Gazette 1937, page 2215, and Gazette 1939, page 1818, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing approximately twelve and three-quarter acres, bounded: Commencing at a point on the southern side of Muriwai Road, being the north-eastern corner of section 42, Whakatane Township; thence towards the north, east, south, and west by the Whakatane Borough, as described in Gazette 1937, page 2215.

CANCELLING THE VESTING OF PORTION OF A RESERVE IN THE HAWERA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve for town purposes and is vested in the Hawera Borough Council: And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Hawera Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Hawera Borough Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
LOTS 11, 12, and 13, D.P. 3265, being part Section 35, Town of Hawera: Area, 2 roods 24.8 perches, more or less.
