Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 10th day of July, 1940.

SCHEDULE.

INGLEWOOD BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land situated within the Taranaki and the Inglewood Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Kaianai Stream crosses the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary in the south-eastern corner of Block VI, Egmont Survey District; thence continuing along the said stream in a generally north-easterly direction to the point where it meets the southern boundary of Section 64, Block III, Egmont Survey District; thence from this point continuing along the southern and western boundaries of the said Section 64 to the point where the western boundary meets the Inglewood County boundary to the north-west of Egmont Village; thence continuing along the Inglewood County boundary in a generally northerly and thence easterly direction to the point where the said boundary crosses the Mangaroraka Stream; thence continuing along the Mangaroraka Stream in a generally northerly direction to the point where the said stream is bridged by the Manutahi Road; thence continuing along the Manutahi Road in a generally easterly direction to the point where the said road is intersected by the Tarurutangi Survey Line; thence continuing along the Tarurutangi Survey Line in a south-easterly direction to the point where the said line meets the Inglewood County boundary, thus enclosing sections on the eastern side of Hursthouse Road; thence from this point continuing in a generally easterly direction along the Inglewood County boundary and thence in a southerly and thence westerly direction along the said county boundary to the point where the said county boundary meets the boundary of the Midhirst Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area on the eastern side of Section 11, Block X, Huiroa Survey District; thence continuing in a generally south-westerly direction along the boundary of the Midhirst Pool mainly formed by the Waipuku Stream to the point where the said stream crosses the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary on the eastern side of Block XV, Egmont Survey District; thence continuing in a generally north-westerly direction along the Egmont Forest Reserve boundary to the point where the said boundary is crossed by the Kaianai Stream in the south-eastern corner of Block VI, Egmont Survey District, being the original point of commencement.

SCHEDULE.

NORSEWOOD-UNITED BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land wholly situated within the Waipawa and the Dannevirke Counties and commencing at the point where the Maharaeke Road crosses the Porangahau Stream to the east of Takapau; thence following the Porangahau Stream in a generally south-westerly direction to the point where it is crossed by the Rangitoto Road to the south of Takapau; thence following the Rangitoto Road in a generally south-westerly direction to the point where the said road meets the Manawatu River south of Ormondville; thence following the said river in a generally south-westerly direction to the junction of the Manawatu River and the Mangate-waini Stream south-west of Ormondville; thence following the Mangatewainui Stream up-stream in a generally north-westerly direction to the junction of the said stream and the Mangatewariti Stream south-west of Ormondville; thence following the Mangatewariti Stream up-stream in a generally north-westerly and westerly direction to its source in the Ruahine Ranges, and from that point continuing in a straight line in a north-westerly direction to meet the boundary between the Pohangina and the Dannevirke Counties; thence following the boundary of the Dannevirke County in a generally northerly direction until it meets the boundary of the Waipawa County at the south-western corner of Block VI, Makaretu Survey District; thence continuing along the Waipawa County boundary in a generally northerly direction to a point opposite the source of the Tukituki River on the western boundary of Block VII, Makaretu Survey District; thence continuing from the Waipawa County boundary in a right line to the source of the Tukituki River and following the said river in a generally easterly and then south-easterly direction to the point where it is bridged by the Tukituki Road; thence in a generally southerly direction along the road forming the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 4061, to the point where it meets the road forming the north-western boundary of Lot 5, Block XV, Ruataniwha Survey District, to the north of the Tukipo River; thence continuing in a generally south-easterly direction along the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 5 and Lot 3 in Block XV, Ruataniwha Survey District, to the point where the said road crosses the Tukipo River; thence continuing along the said road in a generally southerly direction and across the Makaretu River to the point where it meets Maharaeke Road to the north of Takapau; thence continuing along the Maharaeke Road in an easterly direction to the point where the said road crosses the Porangahau Stream to the east of Takapau, being the original point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that
