Parts of the Defence Forces called out for Military Service.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Defence Emergency Regulations 1939, the Governor-
General may by Proclamation call out the Defence Forces or any
part thereof for military service:
And whereas, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and
authorities conferred on me by the Defence Emergency Regulations 1939,
and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby call out for military service for purposes of defence in New Zealand,
as from the dates stated, the following parts of the Defence Forces, namely,β
Officers, Warrant Officers, and Non-Commissioned Officers down to and
including fifty per cent. of Bombardiers and Corporals of the
following units.
As from 1st July, 1940:β
NEW ZEALAND ARTILLERY.
1st Field Regiment.
2nd Field Regiment.
3rd Field Regiment.
7th Medium Battery.
8th Medium Battery.
CORPS OF NEW ZEALAND ENGINEERS.
1st Field Company.
2nd Field Company.
3rd Field Company.
