HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

The Minister of Public Works

to be the Minister of National Service for the purposes of the National
Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

The General Reserve Classification Order 1940.

PURSUANT to Regulation 5 of the National Service Emergency Regu-
lations 1940* the Minister of National Service doth hereby order as
follows :—

  1. (1) This Order may be cited as the General Reserve Classification
    Order 1940.

(2) In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires, expressions
defined in the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940 shall
have the meanings so defined.

  1. The Reserve shall consist of three divisions, to be distinguished
    as the First Division, the Second Division, and the Third Division
    thereof.
