Land in Borough of Rotorua taken for Railway Purposes.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the New Zealand
Government Railways to take land in Borough of Rotorua
for railway purposes (Road Motor Services):
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount
Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred on me by section eleven of the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes
above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 9·39 perches.
Part of Section 19, Block XXXV, Town of Rotorua, Block I,
Tarawera Survey District, Borough of Rotorua. (S.O.
30878.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6171,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured violet.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of June,
1940.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Newmarket to be
Crown Land.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works
Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any
land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work
and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may,
on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare
such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924,
and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed
of under that Act accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor - General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act, 1924.

of Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland),

7 2 35·35 Part Railway land (parts of Allotments 23
and 24 of Section 4, and parts of Allot-
ments 27 and 35 of Section 14, Suburbs
of Auckland), D.P. 26329.
Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District,
Borough of Newmarket and City of Auckland. (S.O. 30977.)
In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6152,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Welling-
ton, and thereon coloured blue and yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
June, 1940.
