A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue
of a new certificate of title for all that parcel of land
containing 22 acres 13 perches, more or less, being part of
Section 132, Square 131, of the District of Inangahua, and
being the balance of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 21,
flio 75, whereof JULIA OSBOURNE, of Reefton, Widow,
is the registered proprietor, and evidence having been fur-
nished of the loss of the outstanding duplicate of the said
certificate of title, I hereby give notice that it is my intention
to issue such new certificate of title upon the expiration
of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing
this notice.

E VIDENCE of the loss of Lease in Perpetuity, Vol. 74,
flio 5 (Southland Registry), and of the outstanding
duplicate of Memorandum of Mortgage No. 39859, relating

EDWARD HORRELL, of Wendonside, Farmer, is the
registered proprietor, and DUGALD LOUIS POPPELWELL,

mortgagees, having been lodged with me, together with an
application for the issue of a Provisional Lease in Per-
petuity and Mortgage, notice is hereby given of my intention
to issue such Provisional Lease in Perpetuity and Mortgage
accordingly upon the expiration of fourteen days from the
30th May, 1940.

special resolution was passed by the shareholders of
Messrs. Dominion Caterers, Limited, as follows:—

Public Accountant, be, and is hereby appointed liquidator of
the company.

wound up voluntarily, consequent upon the sale of its
undertaking to the Bay of Islands Electric-power Board,
and that VERNON FRANCIS CRACKNELL, of Kaikohe,

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Bridges Loan, 1938, £10,000.

I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as
follows:—
“ That, for the purposes of providing interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized
to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing
(in concrete) bridges throughout the said county, the
Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of three-eighths of a penny (¾d.) in the
pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property of the County of
Bay of Islands; and that such rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the said loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in
each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan
is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above resolution is a true and
correct extract from the minutes of the Bay of Islands County
Council passed at a meeting held on the 22nd day of May,
1940.
