  1. Cartage Charges between Taneatua, and Whakatane, Opotiki, Matawai, Te Karaka, Gisborne, and Points beyond Gisborne—continued.

By omitting :—

Furniture for points other than Nuhaka and Wairoa will be charged at rate and one-quarter of the foregoing scale for goods and parcels not otherwise specified :—

To Nuhaka and Wairoa the charges will be as follows :—

Chesterfield suites .. .. .. 9s. per cwt.
All other furniture .. .. .. 10s. per cwt.

By adding :—

Except as provided hereunder millinery, furniture, mattresses (kapok and wire), and sewing-machines will be charged at the rates for goods and parcels not otherwise specified, plus 50 per cent.

To Nuhaka and Wairoa the rates for furniture will be as follows :—

Chesterfield suites .. .. .. 9s. per cwt.
All other furniture .. .. .. 10s. per cwt.

  1. Through Booking between Auckland, Mount Eden, Otahuhu, Onehunga, and intermediate Stations, and Taupo, Wairakei, &c.

By adding the following new paragraph :—

  1. Consignments of furniture exceeding 10 cwt. in weight, and boats, will not be accepted for conveyance under the provisions of this regulation.

  2. Pieton Section.

Paragraph 10 : By adding after the word “ fruit ” the words “ and walnuts.”

Paragraph 17 : By omitting “ 10s. 4d. per bale ” and substituting “ 10s. 10d. per bale.”

Paragraph 18 : By omitting from the schedule of rates under the heading “ Wellington–Blenheim Freight Rates ” the following :—
