THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
[No. 43

of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and
declare that the reserve for recreation in the Canterbury Land
District described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the
same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act,
and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Okains Bay
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as
a public domain by the Okains Bay Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre
2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being part of
Reserve 150, Block IV, Okains Survey District,
bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by other
part of Reserve 150, 220 links; towards the south-
east by the Okains Bay Valley Road, 625 links;
towards the south-west by a public road, 340 links;
and towards the north-west by a public road along
the Okains Creek. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/223a,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rimu Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
May, 1940.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Henry Agnew,
William Antonio Boyd,
Thomas Growcott,
Stuart Counyngham Fane Ogilvie,
George Temperley,
William Leslie Mouritz Agnew,
Patrick Joseph Keenan,
James Albert O’Connor, and
William Patrick Stephens

to be the Rimu Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the twenty-second day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and forty, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Library, Rimu, as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waikai Domain.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
May, 1940.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Christie,
William Moffitt,
James Moffitt,
Charles Reginald Collins, and
Cecil Alfred Sutton

to be the Waikai Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Tuesday, the fourth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred and forty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Masonic Hall, Waikai, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

vested in him by the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and direct that the district valuation roll for the district
enumerated below shall be revised by the Valuer-General
as at the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and forty.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
May, 1940.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the
Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the alienation by
way of sale to, and the acquisition by, the body corporate
called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Auckland, of the land described in the Schedule hereto,
notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the Native
Land Act, 1931.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing 380 acres 1 rood
14 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on a plan deposited
in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, under No. 28151,
being part of the block situated in the Opaheke and Whare-
kawa Survey Districts called Wharekawa No. 5a South
No. 1, and being the residue of the land comprised and
described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 263, folio 136, Auckland
Registry.
