A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described
in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped:
2 acres 3 roods 30·9 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Tokata 5c and 5d Blocks.
Situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Matakaoa Survey District
(Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1497, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93795,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of Road in
Block IV, Newcastle Survey District—viz., a Deviation of
the Taupiri—Morrisville Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion
of road desired to be constructed over Block IV, Newcastle
Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Taupiri—Morrisville
Main Highway, shall be that defined and set forth in the
Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall affect only Section 36, Village of Taupiri, Block IV,
Newcastle Survey District.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the Taupiri—Morrisville Main
Highway opposite Section 33, Taupiri Township, Block IV,
Newcastle Survey District (being the point of termination of
the middle-line of a road defined in the Proclamation dated
the 1st day of December, 1936, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette of the 3rd day of December, 1936, at page 2315)
and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally
for a distance of approximately 5 chains and passing in, into,
through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Section 36,
Village of Taupiri, Block IV, Newcastle Survey District, and
terminating at a point on the south-western corner of the said
Section 36, Village of Taupiri, including all adjoining and
intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers,
streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106954,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of
April, 1940.

declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown
land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
