CORRIGENDUM.

Officers authorized to take and receive Statutory Declarations.
IN the New Zealand Gazette No. 18 dated 7th March, 1940, on page 352, notice is given of officers authorized to take and receive statutory declarations pursuant to the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927. In the schedule appended “Ronald Collingwood Satherley” should read “Ronald Collingwood Satherley.”

Land taken for a Worker’s Dwelling in Block IV, Hangaroa Survey District, Cook County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a worker’s dwelling and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 14 perches.
Being portion of Section 2, Block IV, Hangaroa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4058, blue.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106380, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of April, 1940.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public swimming-baths and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106216, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
