LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Housing Loan, 1940, £5,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Lower Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the acquisition of land and the erection of workers' dwellings thereon, and for such other purposes as are permitted by Part XXVII of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the said Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 33/71oths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value, based on the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan for a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off."

CHANGE OF SURNAME.
I, DARVILLE KILDUff, of the City of Wellington, Fitter, heretofore called and known by the name of SPARROW, hereby give notice that I have renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname SPARROW and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of KILDUFF; and further that such change of name is evidenced by a deed-poll bearing date the 19th day of January, 1940, duly executed by me and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court Office at Wellington on the 19th day of February, 1940, and that I therefore require all persons whomsoever henceforth to designate, describe, and address me as DARVILLE KILDUFF.

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of nine hundred pounds (£900) to be known as the Morrinsville Water-supply Improvements Supplementary Loan, 1939, (£900), authorized to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out improvements to the water-supply, including erection of reservoir, installation of booster-pump and additional reticulation, purchase of land, and incidental expenses, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound (½d. in the £) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Morrinsville; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that such special rate shall be payable in one sum on the first day of April in each year."

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000) to be known as Borough Improvement Supplementary Loan, 1939 (£1,000), authorized to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of street and footpath improvements, improvements to recreation-ground, erection of conveniences, improvements to stock routes, and preliminary expenses, the said the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth of a penny in the pound (¼d. in the £) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Morrinsville; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that such special rate shall be payable in one sum on the first day of April in each year."
