Lands permanently reserved.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral licence, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette :
And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrant, the date of which is specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notification of which was published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

Revoking in Part a Warrant setting apart Crown Land under Section 161 of the Land Act, 1924.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section five of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Warrant dated the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in Gazette No. 9 of the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, page 355, setting apart the said land for disposal under section one hundred and sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in Mangonui County containing by admeasurement 4 acres 0 roods 29 perches, more or less, being portion of Section 7, Block VIII, Opoe Survey District, bounded: Commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 8 on D.P. 27209, being a subdivision of Maxwell’s Grant, in a westerly direction generally along a public road for a distance of 824·6 links and 100 links; thence along right lines bearing 51° 50′ distance 669·6 links; bearing 356° 19′ distance 538·7 links; bearing 86° 20′ distance 368·4 links, to the western boundary of Lot 8 on D.P. 27209 aforesaid; and thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of Lot 8 aforesaid, to the south-western corner of that lot, the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/615a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan 30135.)

GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred upon me by section eight of the Native Purposes Act, 1939, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand do hereby appoint
Frank Oswald Victor Acheson,
duly nominated by the Native Land Court, and
Caroline Amelia Little,
duly nominated by the Native Land Court, to be members of The Kororipo Pa Board for a period of three years from the twenty-second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 7th day of February, 1940.
