Land taken for Road in Block III, Otahoua Survey District, Masterton County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of December, 1940.

Land taken for Street Purposes and in connection with Street Widening at Sutherland Road in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes, that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street widening, and that the said parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for street purposes: 22·88 perches.
Being part Lot 56, D.P. 1889, being part Section 6, Evans Bay District; coloured orange.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken in connection with street widening: 5·96 perches.
Being part Lot 56, D.P. 1889, being part Section 6, Evans Bay District; edged orange.
All situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 20628.)
All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109344, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1940.
