Beacon temporarily replaced by Buoy.
Position : Lat., 35° 47'·9 S.; long., 174° 25'·7 E. (approx.).
Details : The lighted beacon on Annoyance Bank has been destroyed. Pending the re-establishment of the beacon the position will be marked by a red buoy.

NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—TIMARU HARBOUR.
Harbour Improvements : Buoy temporarily established.
Previous Notice : No. 7 of 1940.
Position : Lat., 44° 24' S.; long., 171° 15' E. (approx.).
Details : A black buoy with white superstructure has been temporarily placed in a position to define more clearly the northern limit of the channel in the vicinity of the new mole.
