Revoking a Proclamation taking Additional Land near Bay View for the Purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier Northwards).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 49 of the thirtieth day of the same month, page 1263, taking additional land near Bay View for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier northwards).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1940.

Additional Land near Turakina taken for the Purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway to take further land near Turakina in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the

Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1940.
